A BILL to repeal section twenty-four, article fifteen, chapter eight of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to the prohibition against the political activities of members of paid fire departments.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 15. FIRE FIGHTING; FIRE COMPANIES AND DEPARTMENTS; CIVIL SERVICE FOR PAID FIRE DEPARTMENTS.
§1. Repeal of section relating to the political activities of members of paid fire departments.
Section twenty-four, article fifteen, chapter eight of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, is hereby repealed.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal that section of the code which prohibits the political activities of members of paid fire departments.
